The street pianos here have a very unique design.
There’s a different kind of tension when playing them.
This is one of the top five most nerve-wracking street piano spots I’ve ever visited.
Piano Type :Upright Piano
This shape and design are different from other street pianos.
As a street piano collector, I can’t get enough of it.
However, as some people use the area around the piano for meetings and other purposes, it can make it very difficult to play, so the key was how to overcome this.
Installation date : Permanent

Exit Shinagawa Station’s Konan Exit. Continue straight and take the down escalator.
When you get off the down escalator you will come out into a square, so just keep going straight.
Go straight through the square and you will come to the first intersection, where you should turn left. (Look for Karaoke BIG ECHO.)
After turning left, go straight.
This is the street, but be careful as there will be izakaya touts around.
Go straight through the traffic lights and turn right.
At this traffic light, the building on the right is the KOKUYO building.
The entrance is as shown in the picture below.
At first glance it looks intimidating, but you can enter without any problems.
Recommended access : Train
The nearest station is Shinagawa Station, and although it’s a little far from the station, I think the easiest way to get there is by train.
Afterword
You can play the uniquely designed yellow street piano.
Weekdays only.
There are often meetings and other activities taking place around the piano, making it difficult to play.
The first time I visited, I went at around 1pm, but there were a few places where it looked like people were having business meetings, so I changed the time and went back at around 4pm.
There were still a lot of people there, so we had to be very careful about the sound when we played.
I think the evening is best.
But the design of the piano is so unique that it’s not to be missed.
