Street piano at the Watase Seizo Gallery

This spot features a street piano from Watase Seizo’s art gallery in Tokyo.
It’s a special space to be able to play in while surrounded by gently touching illustrations.
You can only play for one hour, so if you get the chance, you’ll be very lucky.

Piano Type :Grand Piano

You can play a stately grand piano.
Since practice is prohibited, it is a special place where only selected people can play.

Purpose of piano installation

The aim is to allow local residents and visitors to easily experience music through the piano, thereby creating excitement, excitement, and interaction, and spreading the appeal of “The World of Watase Seizo.”

Anyone can feel free to come and enjoy playing on the Yamaha C7 in the gallery surrounded by paintings.

This facility is not soundproofed, so sound will echo to upper floors. Please refrain from playing with a strong touch.

Performances should be limited to approximately 15 minutes, and please be considerate of noise if there are customers in the gallery.

Please refrain from playing with other instruments or singing.

Performances may be canceled if deemed inappropriate use.

Please refrain from setting up a tripod to film videos or practicing with sheet music.

Please wear a mask and disinfect before and after touching the piano.

Exit Meguro Station’s East Exit and cross the traffic lights.
*If you’re coming from the Tokyu Meguro Line, it may be a little difficult to find the East Exit, so we recommend using a map app.

After crossing the traffic lights, go left.

Continue straight until you see the next traffic light.
When you see the light, turn right without crossing.

Just go straight.

Go straight and you will see the Watase Seizo Gallery sign.

The nearest station is Meguro Station, and if you leave from the east exit, you won’t get lost.
