The street piano we’d like to introduce this time is the one located at Tachikawa GREEN SPRINGS.
The street piano here is a spot where you can feel quite nervous playing.
It’s an electronic grand piano, so the sound isn’t very loud, but it’s a lovely space.
Piano Type : Digital Grand Piano
It’s a very comfortable piano to play.
There’s a rest room around it, and many people are taking breaks there, so this is a tense spot.
If you can play it stylishly, I’m sure it will become a wonderful memory.
Installation date : Limited Time Offer
It’s not every day, so it’s a limited time offer, but it seems there are certain days each month when it can be played.
The schedule seems to be irregular, so please check the official website in advance.

Performance times are usually between 9:00 and 20:00.

Location
Living room, 2nd floor, GREEN SPRIONGS, 3-1 Midoricho, Tachikawa, Tokyo
This may be confusing for first-time visitors, so here is some additional information.
This is the location on the guide map.
Go up the stairs where there is a bicycle shop on the left and a restaurant on the right.
After going up the stairs, you will see a square on your right. Go straight and you will find the street piano in the building on your left.
Recommended access : Train
The nearest station is Tachikawa Station.
It’s about a 15-minute walk away, so it’s easy to get to.
There are also commercial facilities nearby, so you can enjoy shopping after playing the street piano.
Afterword
This street piano spot is only open on open days.
The seats are close to people taking a break, which can be a little nerve-wracking.
There are many families with children here, so it may be easy for children to play.
The location of this place is also great.
The street piano isn’t permanently installed, but you’ll be lucky if you get to play it.
The piano produces a very gentle sound, so I personally recommend songs with a gentle atmosphere.
