The street piano we’d like to introduce this time is located in VEGASVEGAS Kokubunji koigakubo shop.
This street piano is installed in a commercial facility.
Of the street pianos installed in Tokyo, I think this is the easiest to play.
Location

1F, Koigakubo SC Building, 5-6-3 Higashikoigakubo, Kokubunji, Tokyo
Recommended access : Train
The nearest station is Koigakubo Station.
It’s about a 10-minute walk from there.
However, I thought it might be a little difficult to transfer to get to Koigakubo Station. (If you’re on the Chuo Line, you’ll need to transfer at Kokubunji Station.)
It’s a little far from Nishi-Kokubunji Station, but it’s about a 20-minute walk, so it might be better to go there instead.
(It’s uphill on the way there.)
Installation date : Permanent
10:00-22:50
*There was no information on the hours during which performances can be performed, so the opening hours are listed here.
We will add the times as soon as we know them.
Piano Type : Upright Piano

It was an upright piano, but the sound resonated well and it was a nice piano.
It appears to have been a donated piano, but it was very comfortable to play, so it must have been properly tuned.
Afterword
High-quality sound resonates throughout the venue.
Easy even for beginners to play.
May be difficult for those travelling by train to get there.
The piano currently installed is a black upright, but it is thought that a piano with an original design will be installed soon.
We will update this article again once the new design is installed.
